On witnessing your feelings

On witnessing your feelings

Yesterday I was all kinds of all over the place. I wanted to throw on some clothes and run down to the beach. Or vomit. Or do housework. Or…something. I didn’t know what.

Yep, the current moon/eclipse energies are huge. And when you’re feeling impacted, it can be challenging to know what to do.

BUT…

Instead of trying to do anything/everything to avoid how I was feeling, I simply went and sat at my altar on my meditation cushion.

Of course I have plenty of tools: kinesiology, journaling, Liquid Crystals, flower essences, crystals and so on.

It’s not always about “fixing” things though, however.

It’s important to feel how we feel and acknowledge what’s going on

So instead of using any/all of the tools I could’ve applied, I simply sat and observed.

I did a little meditation, but mostly I just sat there with the sacred images that live on my altar.

I sat with the chaos, until it didn’t feel like chaos anymore.

Yes, more of us are opening up, and feeling everything we feel more intensely.

But no matter what, there’s nothing to be done

I’ve had a LOT of heart chakra openings and initiations this year. In fact, they’ve been ongoing since January.

And heart chakra work doesn’t always feel blissful and lovely at the time it’s happening!

No matter what’s going on, it will pass

You can make it harder on yourself by freaking out about it. Trust me, I’ve been there, done that.

Or you can simply witness it all. With compassion and love for yourself. It’s a lot more peaceful that way!

Simple loving actions towards yourself when everything feels like it’s falling apart will always support you.

Much love,
