What you think or feel about a person or life experience has nothing to do with that person or experience…
It does however, have everything to do with you
Your survival patterns.
Your negative thinking patterns.
What you’ve learned through osmosis is “true” about yourself, the world around you and other people.
What you believe you “deserve”.
Uh huh. Oh yeah.
What you think and feel is totally your business (no one else’s)
And it’s independent of life circumstances or behavior that people display.
The rich learning ground is how you think and feel, and what you may be able to do to shift your responses and reactions.
It’s completely liberating to embrace this concept…
Your inner turmoil, your state of mind is up to you.
While it can take effort and practice to understand this, and learn to shift out of the belief that other people are causing your problems… it’s definitely worth the effort.
Because on the other side of this work? Is freedom.
