The first thing to understand about perception is that every single person sees the world from their own view point.
As a result, it’s crucial to understand that your perception is not ever absolute truth
If you can’t or won’t realise the truth in this, it can make life difficult and create rigid thinking that limits possibilities for change, growth and transformation.
So the very first step is to try to see around your set of ideas, beliefs and stories about yourself, other people and the world.
How?
Do what you can to see where what you think could be incorrect in some way
Use your mind to create other scenarios where you could be mistaken.
Because if that’s possible, even in tiny and limited ways…then you’ve seen beyond your current thinking patterns.
Another way you can work with this is to meditate.
To begin to witness the world.
To understand that you are not actually your thoughts at all!
And therefore how could what you think be absolute truth?
Much love,
