When you decide to stop worrying about what other people think…

I’m very interested in helping people break the cycle of self-loathing that seems to be so prevalent still in our world.

There are so many people who believe they aren’t okay just as they are

People who grew up with core wounding that caused them to believe there’s something wrong with them. That they’re defective.

It’s such a prison! And a self-created one at that.

And once these beliefs have been operating for many years, it can be a challenge to break this mental patterning.

So much of this is driven by fear of survival (fitting in, being accepted), and therefore fear of what others think.

Of course it’s easy to forget that most other people are busy waging exactly the same war against themselves as you are.

Some express it outwardly, some internally. But almost everyone is their own worst judge, jury and executioner.

Harsh. We seem to be very good at being harsh on ourselves.

Of course, this isn’t the only way. Or the best way.

And the first person that needs to change in this equation is you.

Your self identity. Your relationship with yourself. Your inner dialogue. Your ability to express self-compassion and self-kindness.

While it’s true that not everyone will like you, that’s pretty normal in this funny old world.

And yet the most important thing you can do is learn to do is to generate a relationship with yourself where the opinion you have of you is independent of the opinion of others.

And where your opinion of yourself is loving, friendly, warm, kind, caring, curious and compassionate.

How different would your world be if you were your own best friend? Your own primary source of love, respect and support?
