Do you ever stress about timings, and ‘getting things done’ to deadlines?
Sure, timing can be important. But these days I feel as if sometimes we’re better off observing how things play out, rather than being stressed because things aren’t going according to plan.
According to whose plan, exactly? Deadlines are generally ideas we’ve made up in our mind about how things should play out in time and space.
Today I was chatting to a beautiful soul who’s helping me organise an online group program (coming soon!). She rang to apologise for not being on top of getting the next round of content and information back to me.
You know what? It’s much easier to flow with what is. Perhaps the timing is perfect. Perhaps you aren’t late at all.
Then I began telling her some of this story…
Divine Timing can be involved in seemingly ordinary events and activities
Often what we “think” should happen is not how it goes down, and if we allow ourselves to align with what is, instead of what we think should be… then we open ourselves up to possibilities we didn’t ever expect or imagine.
Take for example my find of this amazing Peridot (these are two pics of the same piece).
It’s pretty special!
This is a story about honoring my intuition and going with the flow…
A couple of weekends ago, I went to Mt Shadwell in Mortlake, the “Olivine Capital” of Victoria.
You can check out more pics of the trip on my Facebook page. 🙂
I hadn’t realised how much I’d been craving a good old fashioned camping trip. It was very nourishing for my soul.
I spent the Saturday morning tooling around a massive quarry, which is full of what’s known as Olivine bombs.
Below is the haul I came home with!
Inside Olivine bombs, you can find precious Peridot gems. Sometimes they’re quite small pieces and other times… not so much!
The quarry is huge. I was given some of the basics by the quarry volunteers: The heavy ones are likely to be Olivines. The ones that open easily are the good quality ones.
Finding ‘good’ pieces is a bit like the proverbial needle in a haystack. Doable, with patience.
So I was happily exploring various piles of rocks, finding some cool stuff and then moving to another part of the quarry. I had to stop when it rained for a while – good excuse for a cuppa – and then I was back at it.
I had a few moments of pure poetry: spying certain pieces, putting my hand on them and breaking them open with a single gentle hammer strike. Glorious!
At one stage, I felt a very STRONG PULL on my left ear
It was almost painful, it was so intense.
Given that I work with crystals and had spoken with the deva of Peridot – her name is Eriel – before I arrived (I asked her to offer up whatever she was happy for us to receive), I wasn’t surprised to be given this sort of sign.
“Over to the left”, was the message (yes, I am clairaudient!).
Okay, okay! So I walked to the left, and then some more.
And waited to see what would happen next. I kept adjusting my position until I saw a green glint under a pile of other brown unopened rocks.
I moved the unopened rocks aside and the piece in the photos above, was sitting underneath. Already broken open. It’s quite a large piece of Peridot! I was stunned!
The only reason I can share this story with you, is because I tuned in to my intuition
If I’d assumed my ear was “just hurting” and ignored it, or if I’d tried to search the quarry with my logic mind, I would never have found it.
This piece came to me with ease and grace, because I listened to my other senses. Which is absolutely joyful to experience!
So instead of assuming things aren’t going according to plan, perhaps you can ask yourself how or where you’re not in alignment with the the greater plan?
Perhaps you need to give up thinking everything must happen “just so”, and allow the flow to take you on the path of least resistance?
Need some help tuning in to your intuition or learning surrender?
