Something I’ve been noticing lately is more and more people beginning to wake up to the energetics of being a human on this planet.
All too often, I’m hearing these sorts of things from my clients:
“I feel like there’s somewhere I’m meant to be or something I’m meant to be doing, but I’m not sure what that is”.
LOTS of people are starting to feel this way!
What you and so many others are experiencing is simply more of who you really are, as a being of light and energy. Not just some guy/gal who has a job and home and goals to buy a car and/or go on a holiday next year!
All that stuff is valid of course, but that’s NOT who you are. I’ll be writing more on this topic, soon.
Your sensitivity is increasing
Which means you’re beginning to perceive the world in a different way.
- Maybe you’re feeling things more deeply, than ever before?
- Or you’re starting to become more emotional, even crying at ads on the TV!
- Perhaps you notice that when someone else has physical or emotional pain, you get sympathy pains?
- Maybe you’re even starting to see auras around people? Or need more time away from people?
You might be waking up to your nature as an empath/highly sensitive person
Which can be tricky at the beginning!
Especially if you don’t have anyone around you who can relate (P.S. I can totally relate!)
You might even feel like you’re going a little batty. But you’re not, I promise.
It’s just a new aspect of your nervous system and senses waking up!
Yeah, it can be weird and strange and unsettling, but it won’t stay that way forever.
Affirmation sheet for empaths
Have you ever used affirmations? Essentially, they’re a way of programming your body and mind with positive messages to support you.
For example: many of us repeatedly engage in negative self-talk such as “I’m stupid”, or “I’m just too sensitive”, or “What’s wrong with me?”. And hey, those are just some PG rated examples of what we tell ourselves.
This affirmation sheet is a freebie from me to you. Please feel free to download and share it with anyone who’d benefit.
What we say and think about ourselves matters. A lot more than you know. We actually create our own perception of reality, based on the messages we insist are true. So if you tell yourself daily that you’re not as smart as other people, what does that do to your self-esteem and your ability to take on tasks you think of as difficult?
If on the other hand… you were to tell yourself how intelligent and capable you are every day, what do you think life would be like? How would that change your perspective?
Of course, I’m not talking about magical thinking, or pretending to be a rocket scientist. BUT how does your attitude about yourself affect how you meet experiences in life? What stories are you telling yourself about yourself, that keep you from doing what you’d like to do? Eh?
Then, those of us who are highly sensitive/empaths tend to have our own set of challenges.
So, these affirmations are useful to for programming your thinking to support yourself as your sensitivity continues to develop.
Being Sensitive 101
I’ve created an online program for empaths and highly sensitive people, which will run periodically as a live course. Eventually it will become an entirely self-paced course, too.FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM

I’d say around 90% of my clients are empaths or highly sensitive people.
Some have been learning to deal with their sensitivity for longer than others.
But generally we all need to learn (and be reminded of!) some fundamentals on how to function in a healthy and balanced way with heightened sensitivity.
Which is why I’ve written the following blog posts on boundaries:
